The traditional trip out West began with a trio of DART Challenge races and would end with an event in Fargo, ND or a pair of events in Aberdeen, SD. Our first stop was in Alexandria, MN for the Challenge race at Viking Speedway. After receiving a good amount of rain, the track was not in the best shape it could have been. We were able to hang on to a top five finish. The next stop was in Madison, MN at Madison Speedway for another Challenge race. Smooth and dry racing surface set the stage for a beautifule speedway. We were able to get out of Madison with another top five. The final stop on the Challenge Series tour was at Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD. The little bullring provided some exciting racing. We were able to leave with a straight car and another top five.

We made the decision to run two complete shows at Brown County Speedway on 7/11 and 7/12. The first night saw the track in less-than-desirable conditions. A mistake made in the feature followed by a misunderstanding of their rules resulted in us being disqualified. Well, at least the bad night was behind us...on to night two. We broke in the heat and in the feature during night two. Hitting another car in the main event ruined the rear-end and other bolt-on parts. Looked like the impact we received was going to be enought to put us into a barrel roll or two. Congrats to the #66 of Eric Breeschoten for picking up $10k this weekend!!

Schedule Change...

We had initially scheduled to be in Montana this coming week but we have updated the schedule. We will not be making the trip to the DART shows or the Rumble shows in Montana from 7/17 to 7/20. While it would be a fun trip and would allow us to run on some tracks we've never run on before, our car will not be ready to make the trip. There are some open races leading up to a WDRL show in Albion, NE on 7/20 that we will probably compete in.

The DART Challenge race in Aberdeen, SD has also been taken off the schedule. Other changes may be made in the future. Give us a call if you are concerned about a specific date!
