Kaanta Racing has posted its 2012 racing schedule and is excited to get their 33rd year of dirt track racing under way. The schedule will include a complete series run of the DART Late Model Challenge Series as well as limited appearances at some NLRA shows headquartered in North Dakota and Cornbelt Clash Series shows out of Iowa. Regula Friday night racing will once again find us at our home track of Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonie, WI. Our Saturday night racing will land us at our "home track away from home", Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, WI. Fans may notice a later than usual starting date this year as a result of some shoulder surgery John had done over the winter months. "The shoulder is feeling stronger each day and by mid-May I am confident it will be better than ever" John reported to the team. This is the first time in Team history that Kaanta Racing has had a delayed start.

Kaanta Racing will once again be fielding a brand new car from the Mars Racing shop located in Menomonie, WI. "We have been partners with Jimmy and Chris since 1999 and we're not about to change our course" John says. "Our team has a great resume and it's in large part due to the craftsmanship, knowledge, and coaching we've received from them over the years." The car will be dressed in it's familiar blue and yellow attire with graphics from Joe's Signs and will be powered by Brown Engineering and Pro Power racing engines.
